Naples Kayaking & Canoeing

This was the best kayak trip ever. Trevor and Michalela are great guides. We had a blast! If you want to be up close to nature and wild life this is the trip for you. Get of the couch, put the cell phone down and GO have some fun!

Our group of 15 had a fantastic day on the water on the Heart of Rookery Bay tour. Ryan led the outing and was outstanding—he’s incredibly knowledgeable about the ecosystem and marine life in the Bay. I’ve paddled many Southwest Florida sites over the years and still learned new things from him. We were out for about 2½ hours, and Heidi did an excellent job keeping everyone together. I highly recommend this tour, as well as the Capri Paddle Park tour we did last year. Ryan and his team are truly excellent—5 stars.

Excellent way to spend some time on the water. We booked this tour because it was a small group (6 people) and to our surprise we were the only ones on it. Marlin, our tour guide was amazing. He was personable, knowledgeable and his love for the environment shown thru. We saw dolphins, eagles, egrets, herons, osprey and more. Highly recommend!

I joined the 2-hour Everglades kayaking tour with Shurr Adventures and it was fantastic. My guides, Michaela and Trevor, were incredibly friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about the Everglades. They shared a lot of fascinating knowledge about the ecosystem, wildlife, and the area throughout the tour. The paddle itself was relaxed and very enjoyable — about two hours through beautiful mangrove tunnels and freshwater sections of the Everglades. The scenery was stunning and we saw plenty of wildlife along the way. The kayaks were very stable and comfortable, making the experience accessible even for beginners. If you’re looking for a shorter Everglades experience that still gives you a real feel for the environment and wildlife, I highly recommend this tour. It’s well organized, informative, and simply a great way to spend a couple of hours in nature. Thank you to Michaela and the team at Shurr Adventures for a wonderful experience.

Amazing time with Mike. Very easy to operate the Hobie Kayaks and we saw lots of wildlife! Including many dolphins!

Perfect excursion! Good balance of kayaking in open water and relaxing through the calm mangrove tunnels. Gabby was so informative, energetic and friendly!! Amazing communication from Alli and equipment was in great condition!

Beautiful scenery and experience kayaking in the mangroves. The guides experience and knowledge of the surrounding was amazing… we thourghly enjoyed our day on the water

Great tour! Wade and James were excellent guides, very knowledgeable about wildlife and vegetation . Saw dolphins, alligators and a crocodile! Fun time and definitely recommend Shurr to anyone looking for a fun kayak trip.

Mike’s kayak tour was wonderful. He taught me about animals, tides, ecology, and more. I was able to see live conchs, many birds, dolphins several times, and even manatees.

James was a great guide! He was very knowledgeable and helpful. The trip was extremely enjoyable and we had a great time!
